One Medical in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Lab Services Specialist to perform venipuncture and provide clinical support within the primary care team.

You will handle specimen collection, processing, and assist with EKGs, vaccines, vitals, and related duties while coordinating with providers and the administrative team. Proficiency with Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, and the One Life EMR is expected.

Qualifications

• Active phlebotomy certification to practice in CA.
• At least 6 months of relevant Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide best in class venipuncture services from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Perform and assist with extended scope duties (non-blood collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD, swabs).
• Maintain proper specimen labeling, handling, processing, inventory, and sterilization.
• Answer patient messages and assist providers and administrative staff with clerical duties.
• Master Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and EMR 1Life to complete daily work.
