Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. The position supports phlebotomy, specimen processing, and clerical tasks with professional patient interaction.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification within 6 months. Experience with Intergy and related systems is a plus; on-site work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am–4pm.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent Phlebotomy skills for pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Must obtain phlebotomy certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing with minimal supervision.
• Handle clerical duties and front office functions as needed.
• Assist with laboratory operations during temporary supervision gaps.
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen documentation.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transport of specimens.
• Recruit and train staff as assigned.
• Support billing and accreditation processes as required.
• Maintain compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
