Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy, specimen processing, and order entry across multiple laboratory locations. You will maintain accuracy during busy periods and support drug screen collections.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a phlebotomy certification, and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Training and proper HIPAA compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification through NHA required or obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures and specimen collection.
• Label specimens and ensure proper patient identification.
• Enter orders and demographics into Laboratory Information System.
• Assist in training new hires and students.
• Maintain equipment and laboratory cleanliness.
