Job summary

BioReference Health, LLC. is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood draws and specimen preparation with a focus on patient comfort and accuracy. The role supports high-quality care for patients and partners in a fast-paced laboratory.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, labeling, specimen transport, data entry, and following OSHA/DEP regulations. The on-site position offers hourly pay of $20.00-$23.00, benefits eligibility, and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed as required by state.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Properly explains venipuncture process and specimen collection to patients.
• Demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Fully understand all physician orders.
• Matches requisition forms to specimens and handles labeling, centrifugation, splitting and freezing as required.
• Packages specimens for transport and stores them at required temperatures.
• Adheres to OSHA and DEP regulations and wears PPE.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer calls and relay results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
