Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Greenwich, CT. The role involves collecting blood via venipuncture and capillary methods, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining accurate patient data.

You will work in Patient Service Centers or client offices, delivering exceptional service and supporting daily operations. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED (or phlebotomy certification) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency is preferred; 1+ year phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
