Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Enfield Street in Enfield, CT. The role involves venipuncture blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You'll work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with rotating Saturdays, and may travel to additional sites. Certification or training in phlebotomy is required, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
