Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Holly Hill Ln in Greenwich, CT. The role includes blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and travel to multiple sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or related training; 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred, with strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
