Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in New Haven, IN. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across all ages, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, and ensure accurate data entry and billing processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience). Strong customer service and the ability to travel to additional sites are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
