Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available on weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify test orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Enter data accurately on computer systems.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, and email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs; complete required training on time.
