Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Ontonagon, MI. The role runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational Saturdays. Responsibilities include collecting specimens, verifying orders, data entry, and maintaining phlebotomy logs.

Requirements include three years of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma. Certification is preferred, and bilingualism is not required.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Review test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information, collecting payments as required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparing for transport.
