Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 5-month contract based in Spring Branch, TX. This onsite role supports multiple Patient Service Center locations and requires strong phlebotomy skills and professional patient interaction.

The position involves traveling to sites as needed, meeting safety standards, documenting activities, and delivering accurate specimen collection for lab testing. Overtime and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — REQUIRED.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
