Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Providence, RI, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational weekend shifts. The pay range starts at $23.20 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus based on performance and other factors.

The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience across patient populations, data entry proficiency, and reliable transportation. High school diploma is required, with medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry proficiency.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify test orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing info and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, and prepare for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, cleaning, phones, email.
