Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Plymouth, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team. The role runs Monday to Friday with varying hours and rotational weekends. The pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonus consideration.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, order verification, data entry, and ensuring accurate processing with lab systems. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification are preferred; candidates should have reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data to support testing workflows.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones and email.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs as required.
• Complete training courses timely.
