Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Lawrence, KS is hiring a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and support lab operations. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekend shifts.

The pay range starts at $20.00 per hour, with potential for annual bonus depending on performance. The ideal candidate has at least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, plus strong data entry skills and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, pediatric and geriatric collections included.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible with staffing needs, weekends/holidays/on-call/overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, cleaning, phones and email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete trainings timely.
