Quest Diagnostics in Reading, PA is hiring a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and perform routine phlebotomy duties in a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation. The role requires accurate data entry, sample labeling, and adherence to safety and privacy policies.

The position offers pay starting at $22.35+ per hour plus benefits, retirement options and opportunities for professional growth within a large diagnostics network.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems, client contact and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments as required by policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
