Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Saint Peters, MO, is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and perform routine phlebotomy duties Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekend coverage. This role requires precise data entry and adherence to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and statistics; complete training timely.
