Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Murphy, TX, seeks a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM shift with rotational weekends. You will collect specimens, verify orders, and ensure accurate data entry and billing alignment in a fast-paced clinical lab.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; basic medical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders and enter data using lab technology systems.
• Navigate computer systems and collect payments when required per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
