The role focuses on specimen collection, processing, and data entry to support patient testing. The ideal candidate has at least three years of phlebotomy experience, strong English communication, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections preferred.
• English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
