Job summary
Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Spring, TX, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends. The role offers a pay range starting at $22.35 per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonuses based on performance and organizational factors.
Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and processing, while maintaining compliance with policies. Requires three years of phlebotomy experience and HS diploma; phlebotomy certification
Qualifications
- Three years phlebotomy experience required.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs including weekends/holidays
Responsibilities
- Collect specimens according to established procedures.
- Administer oral solutions according to training.
- Verify test/client information and orders using lab systems.
- Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
- Enter billing information and collect payments as required.
- Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport preparation.
- Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
- Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
- Assist with statistics submission and maintain phlebotomy logs.
- Complete trainings in a timely manner.
