Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions in Gwinn, MI is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a full-time on-site role. The position runs Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch and Friday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, plus rotational Saturdays.

The role requires at least three years of phlebotomy experience and strong data entry skills. A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred where applicable. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred in some states.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments as required per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
