Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience and ability to navigate lab software.
• Flexible schedule with weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens, biometric screenings and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client communications.
• Enter data accurately and maintain phlebotomy logs and statistics.
• Prepare specimens for transport and handle non-patient duties such as inventory and phones.
