Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA/NV/WA.
• Medical training or experience in phlebotomy and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computers to accurately enter data and manage billing information.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparation for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, and emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission when required.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
