Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and perform related duties in a Monday–Friday schedule with rotational weekends. The role requires strong phlebotomy skills, data entry, and ability to work with lab technology systems.

Applicants should have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma (medical training preferred), and a valid driver’s license if applicable.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screening).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Obtain patient identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
