Zusammenfassung

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team. This role involves drawing blood, processing specimens, and supporting patient services Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with every third Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, phlebotomy training, and strong data entry skills to accurately enter orders and billing information using our lab systems.

Qualifikationen

High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Aufgaben

Collect specimens according to established procedures.
Administer oral solutions according to training.
Verify orders and patient information using lab systems and approved tools.
Navigate computer and accurately enter data.
Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments as required.
Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, answering phones, email.
