Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Rochester Hills, MI, seeks a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens and perform associated duties in a fast-paced clinical setting. The position runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with one additional Saturday shift every three weeks from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and maintaining accurate phlebotomy logs, while complying with departmental policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
Experience with customer service and data entry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Collect specimens per established procedures, including drug screens and biometric tasks.
Enter data accurately and navigate lab systems to verify orders.
Prepare specimens for transport, label, centrifuge, and document logs.
Assist with inventory, housekeeping, and non-patient facing duties as needed.
