Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Atascocita, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, process samples, and support routine lab operations. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab tech systems and client data.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance records.
• Complete training courses timely.
