Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Temple, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a pay range of 21.50+ USD per hour.

The candidate will collect specimens, process labs, and manage billing data while maintaining accurate logs and safety protocols. Qualified applicants have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Review test orders and confirm accuracy using lab systems and client contact.
• Enter data and navigate computer systems accurately.
• Label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze and prepare specimens for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory and sanitation.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
