Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Bella Vista, AR, is seeking a Phlebotomist II to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational weekends. The role offers a pay range starting at $20.00 per hour and eligible performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify orders using lab systems and tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones and emails.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
