Qualifications

• Minimum of three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Typing and data entry skills to accurately enter test orders.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, incl. drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contacts.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens for transport: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing.
• Non-patient duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
