Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Lakeway, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational weekends. The role pays at least $24.50 per hour and includes opportunities for annual performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test and client information, confirm and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information, collecting payments when required per policy.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, sanitizing, filing, and email/phone tasks.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
