Job description

Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist to support our client’s team in Eugene, OR. This is a full-time, 13-weeks contract.

Job Summary

This role requires a skilled phlebotomist who is comfortable working independently in a clinic environment and drawing patients across a broad age range, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

The ideal candidate will have phlebotomy experience, strong specimen processing skills, and experience working with challenging draws, including behavioral health patients and individuals with difficult venous access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Collect approximately 30-40 specimens daily
  • Process, label, package, and prepare specimens for shipment
  • Complete specimen documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Draw admission and discharge patients throughout assigned hospital units
  • Review daily patient assignments and complete collections for designated floors or wings
  • Follow specimen handling, quality, and safety procedures
  • Provide professional and compassionate patient care in a behavioral health environment
  • Maintain compliance with all laboratory and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ year of phlebotomy experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Location: Eugene, OR
  • Job Type: 13-week contract
  • Pay Range: $17 - $22 hourly
  • Shifts: Mon - Fri, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
