Pride Health is hiring a Part-Time Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in Orlando, FL 32832. This is a 3-month assignment with potential extension or conversion.

Shift is 7a-12p, 4 days a week plus Saturdays; pay is $19–$21/hr on W2, based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include obtaining quality samples, informative patient interaction, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA/NV/WA).
• 1+ year phlebotomy and customer service experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Maintain quality, accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and flexibility to cover various locations as needed.
• Perform daily activities accurately under supervision.

Pride Health is hiring a Part-Time Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility based in Orlando, FL 32832. This is a 3 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration : 03+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift : 7a-12p eastern time 4 days a week and every saturday

Payrate : $19-21/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

• The Patient Services Representative I(PSR I) represent the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• The PSR I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center or as business needs dictate.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include paediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Job Requirements:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
