Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Phlebotomist I to accurately collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing in a hospital setting, including outpatient, ED, inpatient units, and even newborns. You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

You may gain experience across venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swabs, with opportunities for growth, on-call shifts, holiday rotations, and contributions to CODE response teams.

Qualifications

• BLS is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of phlebotomy experience, training or national certification as approved by manager/supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing.
• Follow safety and regulatory standards in collection and handling.
• Take on-call shifts and participate in holiday rotations.
• Participate in CODE response teams and mentor new staff.
