Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or laboratory setting.
• Current California phlebotomy licensure (CPT) required.
• Bilingual English and another language desirable.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and basic MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and perform blood draws.
• Verify patient identity and test orders in the EHR.
• Maintain aseptic technique and safe handling of specimens.
• Document collection times and ensure specimen integrity.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and safety policies.
