Job summary

Talentify, on behalf of its Livermore, CA client, is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join a Medical Research setting. You will collect blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and interact with patients in a professional, reassuring manner.

Under supervision, you will maintain records, follow procedures, and uphold confidentiality. Requirements include a high school diploma, CA CPT license, and 6 months phlebotomy experience; medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy License required; 6 months phlebotomy experience preferred.
• CA CPT credentials required; state licensure must be active.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients during visits.
• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing.
• Explains procedures to patients and maintains trust and confidentiality.
• Performs daily activities under supervision, maintaining records and a professional environment.
