Job summary

Air Combat Effectiveness Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a phlebotomist to perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks in hospital lab and outpatient settings. You will identify patients, label specimens, and ensure proper chain-of-custody for specimens.

Responsibilities include prioritizing STAT draws, accurate data entry, and safe specimen transport. This role requires California phlebotomy licensure, BLS certification, and 1–6 months of experience in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience required: 1–6 months in hospital or clinical setting.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Current California CPT I or CPT II license required; CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy (venipuncture, finger stick, heel stick) per procedures.
• Identify patients and correctly label specimens.
• Prioritize STAT draws and ensure rapid transport to the lab.
• Enter orders and manage specimen lists using hospital systems.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety policies.
• Assist with training new staff and interns in phlebotomy duties.
