Job summary

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensures accurate patient identification, labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.
• Assists in patient care and rapid response to medical emergencies in inpatient settings as needed.
• Communicates effectively with patients and care teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Follows HIPAA regulations and handles sharps and biohazard materials safely.
