Job summary

Mass General Brigham Community Physicians, Inc. seeks a full-time Phlebotomist to work onsite at 323 Lowell Street in Andover, MA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a sign-on bonus of $3,000.00.

You will collect and process blood specimens for laboratory testing and support high-quality patient care. The role requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy training; completion of a phlebotomy course is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality blood samples using various phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.
• Communicates effectively with patients and care teams to explain procedures and address concerns for high patient satisfaction.
• Handles sharps and biohazardous materials per regulatory requirements to ensure safety.
• Works with computer programs and systems and complies with HIPAA regulations.
• Performs other test administration and specimen collection as assigned.
