Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy course completion preferred.
• Licenses or credentials: Class D Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing.
• Obtain quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all ages.
• Ensure correct patient identification, proper labeling, processing, and transportation of specimens.
• Assist in patient care during emergencies and adverse reactions when needed.
• Communicate with patients and care teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle sharps and biohazard materials per regulations and HIPAA requirements.
• Operate computer systems accurately and perform other test or collection tasks as assigned.
