Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our on-site team at Pembroke, MA. You will collect blood samples, ensure accurate patient identification, proper labeling, and safe transport of specimens to the laboratory.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with phlebotomy training preferred. Work is 40 hours per week, daytime shifts, with occasional Saturday rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.
• Communicates effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
