Job summary

Mass General Brigham Community Physicians, Inc. is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to work onsite at 323 Lowell Street in Andover, MA. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with a generous sign-on bonus of $3,000.00.

The Phlebotomist will obtain quality blood samples from patients, ensuring proper labeling and transport, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient communication throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Obtains quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensures accurate patient identification, labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.
• Communicates effectively with patients and care teams to ensure satisfaction.
• Handles sharps and biohazardous materials per regulatory requirements for safety.
• Works fluently with computer programs and systems and complies with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all ages.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and proper labeling of specimens.
• Process, handle, and transport specimens safely to the lab.
