Job summary

Mass General Brigham Community Physicians, Inc. seeks a full-time Phlebotomist to work onsite at 323 Lowell Street, Andover, MA. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus discussed during the interview process.

You will collect and process blood specimens and support high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes accurate labeling, HIPAA compliance, effective communication with patients and care teams, and safe handling of specimens.

Qualifications

• Must obtain quality blood samples across age groups.
• Excellent patient communication and teamwork to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Ability to handle sharps and biohazardous materials per regs (OSHA/HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods.
• Ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, processing and transport of specimens.
• Communicate procedures and address patient concerns with care.
• Handle sharps and biohazardous materials per regulatory requirements.
• Operate computer systems and comply with HIPAA.
• Perform other test administration and specimen collection as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
