Octapharma Plasma is seeking a dedicated donor center technician to support plasmapheresis operations and donor care at our U.S. locations.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance, with focus on a positive donor experience and strict confidentiality. You will operate plasmapheresis machines, perform venipunctures, and ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained while following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills required.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
• Able to make accurate and complete documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals required.
• Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
• Demonstrates consistency and reliability (good attendance, punctual) required.
• Ability to work daytime and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts on a frequent basis required.
• Ability to perform venipunctures required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total operation is compliant with state and federal regulations (FDA, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high level of customer service and donor experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and professional environment.
• Review donor identification and confidentiality.
• Set up and prepare equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis.
• Label units and samples accurately.
