Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Specialist to execute plasmapheresis and perform venipunctures with an emphasis on safety and donor comfort.

You will ensure adherence to FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP SOPs, maintain equipment, and document procedures while delivering exceptional donor experiences in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires teamwork, training others, and maintaining meticulous records, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Completed training prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipunctures and plasmapheresis procedures with safety and accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with FDA/OSHA/CLIA/GMP SOPs and document procedures.
• Ensure donor comfort and maintain a positive donor experience.
• Set up equipment and supplies for procedures; label units accurately.
• Operate and troubleshoot plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, and document issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize work areas; manage biohazard waste per protocols.
