Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Marlborough, MA. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational weekend shifts. Pay range $22.80–$24.45 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems, client contact, and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments per corporate policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and email.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and relevant maintenance logs.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
