Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in North Easton, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotating weekends. The pay range is $22.80 to $24.45 per hour, and successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, medical training preferred, and phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA/NV/WA). One year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders and enter data in lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phone/email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training records.
• Complete trainings timely.
