Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in North Andover, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist I. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotational weekend shifts. Pay range is $22.80 to $24.45 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus based on performance.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, processing specimens, data entry, and assisting with billing where required. Requires high school diploma; phlebotomy certification preferred; one year phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders and enter data using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and related records.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
