Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Westland, MI is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens and support patient services. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotational weekend coverage, emphasizing accurate data entry and adherence to procedures.

You will work with lab technology systems, maintain logs, and participate in training while delivering quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsabilidades

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
