Job summary

The position requires English communication skills and a HS diploma, with phlebotomy certification preferred. Weekend rotation may apply, and the work schedule is Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–12:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA/NV/WA.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contacts.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, cleaning, filing, phones, email).
• Follow departmental policies and procedures; maintain logs and statistics.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
