Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; CA/NV/WA required.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred; customer service experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, email.
• Read and follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs as required.
• Complete online and in-person tasks as required.
